In our commitment to ensure the health and safety of all participants and guests at the Classic Tattoo Show, we are proud to work closely with the Davis County Health Department. To guarantee a seamless and successful event, it’s crucial that all artists, vendors, and staff adhere to the following health mandates and requirements.
IMPORTANT HEALTH MANDATES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Davis County Health Department Requirements
Blood-Borne Pathogens Certificate (Required)
All participating tattoo artists must hold a valid Blood-Borne Pathogens certificate recognized by Davis County, Utah. This certification is mandatory for protecting both artists and clients.
CPR / First Aid Training Certificate (Required)
Davis County also requires every tattoo artist to maintain a current CPR and First Aid Training certificate. This ensures all artists are prepared to respond to emergencies safely and effectively.
Temporary Body Art Permit (Required for All Artists)
A Temporary Body Art Permit from the Davis County Health Department is required for every booth at the Classic Tattoo Show.

One permit covers between 1–4 artists from the same shop or booth.

The cost is $100 per permit (covering up to four artists).

All artists must apply through the Davis County online permit portal prior to the show.

Permits will not be issued onsite.

Applications close 15 days before the event.
Artists must review Davis County’s rules and regulations and complete all online requirements through the official Davis County government website.

..."HOW TO APPLY FOR YOUR TEMPORARY TATTOO PERMIT"
You will create the account and then select “Apply for a Permit”.
It will then ask you which permit you would like to apply for; you will select the," Body Art Permit Application."
Once you are in the Body Art Application it will ask you for the ‘Program’ as a drop down you will select “Temporary Body Art”.

When you select the Temporary Body Art permit, it will ask you for the Facility Information; that will be your business information (Permit Name). Under the address section you will enter the convention address “25 N. Sports Park Way, Farmington, UT 84025“.
As the Facility Owner, you will list yourself (Permit Holder).On the page after that it will ask you for the event details. It will then allow you to enter up to 4 body artists per permit and will require the dates of their CPR/First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogen certificates. There is also a section to download images.
